Sourcing stock as a reseller can be particularly challenging for many reasons.
Starting up usually the options are sourcing from charity shops, and car boots which are seasonal, this can be rewarding but can be time consuming, there is also limited availibility.
When looking elsewhere, finding the right products at the right price requires extensive research and negotiation with suppliers. Many suppliers impose minimum order quantities, require you to be VAT registered and force resellers to make large purchases at once. This can be a significant barrier, especially for smaller businesses with limited storage space or cash flow. Generally there are bigger businesses able to negotiate better rates than you can, also if you make the wrong choices, you can be stuck with hundreds of the same item with no way to recoup your money back.

When recieving stock, we separate stock in to price bins based on the condition and value of the item (based on actual selling prices on eBay and Amazon - not over inflated RRPs - if in doubt we always under value. When you place an order we randomly pick items from the bins to give you at lease twice the value of your order, the bigger the order, the more economical it becomes.
Some items we recieve are unusual and require our teams to do some research - in cases like this we'll also include an information slip about the item, which should help you out when you come to sell it.
